Won through a national design competition, the design of the Council of Islamic Ideology rationalizes 2 grids present on site; the grid imposed by the master-plan of Islamabad and the second is the grid determined by the direction towards Mecca.
Stylistically, the design delves into critical regionalism while at the same time taking a modern approach.
